Hi all,

so far I'm getting along nicely with portaudio, thanks for the great work!
I'm now moving from mac to linux, but the only machine I can test on is a server
without audio interface:

portaudio/bin/pa_devs
PortAudio version: 0x00130600
Version text: 'PortAudio V19.6.0-devel, revision
396fe4b6699ae929d3a685b3ef8a7e97396139a4'
Number of devices = 0
----------------------------------------------

Is there something like a null output device I can specify for portaudio, or
create in the system (without superuser priviledges)?

Cheers!...

Hi Diemo,
maybe you could use JACK with the "dummy" audio driver ? If PA has been
built with JACK support it should work.

Hello,
ALSA or pulseaudio dummy devices would be option also:
